MY STORY

I first came to yoga in 2013 with an aching lower back and burn out from spin classes, HIIT workouts and noisy gyms. Yoga brought healing to my physical body and surprised me with an inspired heart and a more settled mind. Since then, I have completed my 200 Hr training at Three Queens Yoga in Philadelphia, PA and my Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training at Dig Yoga in Lambertville, NJ. I am currently finishing up my 500 Hr training.

I teach an athletic, alignment-based yoga class, focused on linking the mind and body through breath. My hope is that with hyper focused alignment cues, you will uncover your body’s unconscious movement patterns and feel empowered to better manage your chronic pain and injuries. Eventually, you will move freely in your body, so you can continue to do the things that you love most, pain-free. For me, that’s spending time outside - hiking, biking, kayaking - with my husband, son & dog.

Special thanks to my teachers - Justicia DeClue, Alex Holmes, Mariel Freeman, Sue Elkind and Naime Jezzeny - and every student whose own journey has informed mine over the last several years.
